Celebrating Resilience and Partnership: Highlights from Our Evening Gala Reception
We are pleased to reflect on the success of our Evening Gala Reception held during Ukraine Day at the Labour Party Annual Conference. This event, organized by CEO Club London in partnership with BGV Group, on the 24th of September was a remarkable gathering of officials and supporters from both the UK and Ukraine, united in a shared commitment to fostering a strong partnership.
The evening began with inspiring opening speeches from both UK and Ukrainian officials.
Ukraine was represented by:
🔸Oleksandr Korniienko, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada
🔹Yehor Cherniev, Deputy Chair of the Ukrainian Parliament's National Security, Defence, and Intelligence Committee, Head of the delegation to NATO PA;
🔸Halyna Vasylchenko, Ukrainian MP
Ukrainian representatives highlighted the resilience and determination of our people in the face of war. Their heartfelt gratitude towards the UK for its unwavering support resonated deeply with all attendees.
UK was represented by:
🔹David Taylor, MP for Hemel Hempstead
UK officials responded with assurances of continued assistance and solidarity, emphasizing the support and admiration that defines our nations’ relationship. The dialogue underscored the importance of collaboration and the collective strength we derive from standing together during difficult times.
The reception featured an exhibition of Ukrainian wartime photographs showing the realities the Ukrainians live in. We extend a special gratitude to Adam Harlampovich who made the exhibition possible and to the amazing photographers Kostiantyn Liberov and Vlada Liberov whose masterpieces were exhibited.
The resection itself was a big success; it featured a video showing and live music. Among the guests there were Ambassadors to the UK and representatives of the UK diplomatic corp, MPs and representatives of the House of Lords. All the guests received a souvenir from Ukraine.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and contributed to this vital exchange of ideas and experiences. Together, we are not just allies but friends, committed to a future of peace and prosperity.
