Strengthening Ukrainian-British Military Cooperation
Today, together with Serhiy Haydaychuk, Dmytro Tretiakov, Ihor Ishchenko, NP Aerospace we held a productive meeting with Luke Pollard MP, the UK's Minister for the Armed Forces.
Our discussions focused on enhancing the strategic collaboration between Ukraine and the UK, particularly in the realm of military technology (Mil Tech). There is tremendous potential for Ukrainian and British companies to innovate together in this space, and we explored ways to create an environment that fosters these partnerships.
One key highlight was the signing of the historic 100-year agreement between Ukraine and the UK, emphasizing the need for a strong dialogue between private and state enterprises. Minister Pollard also underscored the importance of utilizing the expertise of Ukrainian military engineers to bolster the UK's defense sector while establishing training and patriotic centers for veterans and youth.
Additionally, we touched on the UK's interest in expanding the extraction and processing of critical materials, where Ukraine's vast reserves can play a crucial role.
